Calendar items must adhere to the following rules:

  1. An event request must clearly indicate that it is being put on by an AA entity-AA group, area, committee (may be adhoc) or Edmonton Central Office.
  2. Accepted events include: roundups, conferences, studies (Big Book, AA Concepts, Traditions), fellowship (social) events and informative events (sponsorship, program, service related).
  3. An event must adhere to ALL the AA Traditions including not accepting outside contributions, being self-supporting, contribution based and non-profit.
  4. The contact cannot be an outside organization.
  5. Events are considered open or closed and should indicate such on the poster.
  6. Posted information must not infringe on AA copyright.
  7. Events using outside organizations for services such as catering or DJ, must ensure there is no conflict of interest.
  8. The Communications Chair is responsible for ensuring postings meet these guidelines.
